Speaking at Silicon Valley SharePoint User Group – SharePoint Data Taxonomy

This meeting has been postponed to next month.  I will provide additional details when I learn of them…

I am speaking at the Silicon Valley SharePoint User Group (SVSPUG) this next week on Wednesday, February 20th.

SharePoint Data Taxonomy
In SharePoint 2010, Microsoft introduced many new features the enable an organization to manage and enterprise-class data taxonomy. With these new features came many questions as to the best practices for obtaining requirements and implementing a data taxonomy that supports day to day business operations, business and individual contextual needs and business agility. In this session, I will share some of the techniques I use, when working with customers, to obtain business requirements that lead to the design of a logical and physical model that can be used to implement a SharePoint data taxonomy.
