I will be delivering another session at the Silicon Valley SharePoint User Group this Month! I am looking forward to seeing you at this free event…
So we can best prepare and to make sure we have enough food, please RSVP by sending an email to Don Lamure at email@example.com
In past sessions, we have learned about the need to deliberately architect and design solutions in SharePoint, improving storage/management and findability. In this session I will discuss and demonstrate how to effectively apply data and site structure taxonomies using SharePoint technologies. I will describe and demonstrate techniques and best practices for implementing a content type hub, content type structures, metadata, managed metadata and the term store. In addition, I will demonstrate how these techniques improve the storage and management of content, promote a higher degree of search result relevancy and produce aggregate content views to support various contextual needs.
