As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Mindjet’s MindManager product. I use it daily for meetings, gathering my thoughts around a topic, presentations and SharePoint design. If you have never used it, I highly recommend taking a look at it.
One of the many available features is the ability to add custom properties to any map topic. When I first started using MindManager v9, this functionality was excluded from the ribbon bar. I thought Mindjet had removed this functionality completely; which somewhat depressed me and I sent their support an e-mail asking why… I later learned they hadn’t removed the functionality at all; it’s simply hidden, by default. To expose this functionality simply go to File -> Options -> View -> Developer ribbon tab. Once complete, the Developer ribbon tab will be exposed; ad the custom properties too! Thank you Mindjet for not removing this!

Thank you for posting the information about the Developer tab! Have you tried MindJet’s SharePoint MindManager?
Yes I have Karen. It’s not something I use much to be honest; but none the less, I have used it. What would be really cool is if I could take my SharePoint designs in MindManager and export them directly to a SharePoint environment!
